Mini Dental Implants Make A Patient Very Happy

An elderly patient suffering with a denture for over a year is now happy as can be with her new mini implant supported denture. In just 1 1/2 hours she went from a loose, unmanageable upper denture to an implant supported denture using her exising denture in order to avoid any additional cost. The patient left the office with only Motrin in hand.

Dental Spa Introduces Mini-Implants

Immediate Dental Implants

That’s right! For those patients currently wearing upper or lower dentures and want an immediate increase in retention and stability, we can now place dental implants in our office and during that very same visit increase the chew-ability of your current or new denture.
The process is relatively simple. During your first visit we take simple impressions of your jaw(s) and a panoramic x-ray. This data is sent to a special dental laboratory for the fabrication of an Implant Stent to guide in implant placement.

On your second visit, we place the implants and the retentive devices into your current or new dentures. Typically there is no significant surgery, no sutures and no post-operative discomfort. Simple over the counter analgesics are normally all that is necessary. You are chewing and eating the very same day! Quite amazing! Call us TODAY for more information!

The Progressive Dentist on WNYH 740 AM Radio

Well, we've finally accomplished one of our long term goals, getting our own radio show. Starting Monday, Oct 15 we will be on air at 740 AM in NY at 10:30 AM in the morning. Our show will air every Monday morning and will cover a wide range of topics involving oral health but will also get into other areas such as politics, hence the name The Progressive Dentist. We will be interviewing on air dentists, politicians and possibly even my mother. You can check our website at http://www.theprogressivedentist.com for updates and interviews. You can also ask questions which will be answered whenever possible on air. If we don't get to your question, we will respond via email.

You can also take a look at our Pet Peeves page where you can vent your frustrations about just about anything. We will select the best entries and present them on air as well.
